VISION

MARKINGS OF THE RETURN ~ VISION

I see a city alive with peace

I know a people who hunger for Righteousness

The boundaries of the land extend beyond

their present borders

for all people long to enter

long to be a part of this kingdom

How did all this begin, you may ask

It has all happened according to Scripture:

"Suddenly, in an instant, 

the Lord Almighty will come

with thunder and earthquake and great noise,

with windstorm and tempest and flames

of devouring fire.

Then the hordes of all the nations that fight

against Ariel,

that attack her and her fortress and besiege her,

will be as it is with a dream,

with a vision in the night

as when a hungry man dreams that he is eating,

but he awakens, and his hunger remains;

as when a thirsty man dreams that he is drinking,

but awakens faith, with his thirst unquenched.

So will it be with the hordes of all the nations

that fight against Mount Zion.

Be stunned and amazed,

blind yourselves and be sightless;

be drunk, but not from wine,

stagger, but not from beer.

The Lord has brought over you a deep sleep:

He has sealed your eyes (the prophets)

He has covered your heads (the seers).

For you this whole vision is nothing but words

sealed in a scroll.  

And if you give the scroll to someone

who can read, and say to him, 'Read this, please,'

he will answer, 'I don't know how to read.'

The Lord says:

'These people come near to me with their mouth

and honor me with their lips.

but their hearts are far from Me.

Their worship of Me 

is made up only of rules taught by men.

Therefore once more I will astound these people

with wonder upon wonder;

the wisdom of the wise will perish,

the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.'

In that day the deaf will hear the words

of the scroll,

and out of gloom and darkness

the eyes of the blind will see."

Isaiah 29

You wait.  You hope. 

You depend on the vision of man, 

the limited and confined vision of mortal man

But, I tell you the Truth

There is a greater Vision

A more Holy Purpose

An absolute Promise

Ask this day, My people, that your eyes would be opened

to the true Vision; the Magnificent Promise

I will open your eyes to see Zion in its Glory

and I will instill within you My Zeal to bring it forth

OPEN, EYES OF THOSE BLINDED,

TO SEE IN PERFECT PURITY, THE VISION OF ZION

SANCTUARY OF GOD

OPEN, EARS OF MY PEOPLE, TO ONCE MORE 

HEAR MY VOICE

TO HEAR YOUR FATHER SAY, "COME FORTH

AND TAKE THIS LAND

IT IS YOURS ~ IT IS MINE ~ IT IS OURS"

I will surely show you
